Disability Development WA seeking your input !!!!

Posted on: Friday, 7 July 2017 at 10:30:57 AM

DDWA are about to commence developing a new guide for families and staff who support adults
who at times may behave in challenging ways.
This resource is being developed in response to feedback from members who said that our current guide,
‘What is your child’s Challenging Behaviour trying to tell you’ was great for supporting
children, however not all of it was suited to supporting adults.

Whilst some of the content will be the same, we are seeking feedback from members and others as to what else
they would like to see included in this new resource.
Please come along to an informal discussion group with our Side by Side team and also Debbie Lobb from DSC’s
Positive Behaviour Support team, to let us know your thoughts and ideas.  If you cannot attend, but would still like
to contribute, please send me an email – mary.butterworth@ddc.org.au
